I got a kick out of pulling out my old "Dr. Detroit" album on vinyl today. Devo, James Brown, Dan Akroyd, Fran Drescher as a sexy high-class call girl...this movie had it all! I just found the video on YouTube:

the low point of the show was saying that the "what's happening" theme song was the "good times" theme song. :-( I didn't have it written down right, but Mike Murphy and a caller set me straight. Thanks!
Or maybe the low point was not being able to get the record player to work the first time i tried it, even after i thought i'd tested it. That's two too many low points :-( I hope everyone still enjoyed the show.
