I interviewed Justin van Pelt today on my show. He plays Hedwig in the local production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Kathleen and I saw it on Friday night and it was great! justin did an excellent job at what must be a very difficult part to play. The live show is SO much better than the movie. But here's a good video from the movie version, of when the band is playing one of their miserable gigs in a restaurant.


after talking with justin, i played some reggae and ska, some music from mali, and i'm pretty sure this was the first time i played the x-ecutioners on my show.
