today i played a full two hours of classic rock covers and remixes. most of them were covers or remixes of the beatles, rolling stones, or the doors. but there were a few others in there too. including senor coconuts cha cha cha version of deep purple's "smoke on the water". here's a live video:

a few that were not straight covers or remixes: shinehead's "unity" just used pieces of the beatles "come together"; "rapture riders" was a mash up of "riders on the storm" and blondie's "rapture"; and "stairway to gilligan's island" was a mashup of..."stairway to heaven" and "gilligan's island"
