last week i heard about the french electro-pop artist yelle a couple times, watched a video and really liked it, got the cd, and played it this morning. the song is called "a cause de garcons", which i read means "because of boys". here's the video, pretty funny:

played a few more french electronic songs after that. one of them was daft punk's phoenix. funny thing happened when i was playing that one, someone called in to tell me that my cd was skipping, but it wasn't :-) it is a pretty repetitive song, to be honest. but still good.
also continued my streak of playing from my new amadou & miriam cd and the new nickodemus cd.
