today, i had jim zinn sit in with me as a pitch partner on the show.  thanks jim!  unfortunately, we didn't do much better than winston apple and I did last week, which wasn't very good.  hopefully the station will find a show or programmer that does better in that time slot since i'll only be hosting it a couple more months.  i've been doing it for four years now and its been a great experience, but i'm ready to give someone else a shot at it and move on to something else.  i'll still be volunteering there, and maybe even will cover for people's shows sometimes.

anyway....jim brought a bunch of music so that was fun, kinda a half guest dj show.  we played some electronic, some stuff from 60's, some modern funk/soul, and a few others.  one of the 60's songs i played was a cover of daytripper done by sergio mendes and brasil 66 on vinyl:



i also got 2 pairs of tickets to give away next week to los straitjackets!  that show is in a few weeks and deadmau5 is monday!
