some station engineers had to do some maintenance work on the transmitter during my show today, so i was only on-air until about 11:15. but we were still streaming on the internet and we never know for sure when we'll be back on-air, so we just keep the show rolling. i may replay some of the off-air songs next week, i hope the web listeners don't mind a few repeats.
mainly i was playing jazz remixes the second hour because i just got a promo for a cd of nat king cole remixes. but i also got some electronic dance and reggae and soca and african in too. soca in honor of upcoming carnaval! played a maximus dan song that i didn't find a good video of, but here is a different one, about soccer even!:

next week is our band auction and the week after that i'm going to begin having leaders of different religions as guests on my show and then playing some music related to their traditions. should be interesting
